The pilates principles
Breathe
In Joseph Pilates' techniques lateral breathing is used, generating as much oxygenation blood around the body as possible, increasing circulation, flexibility and deepening core work.

In pilates the goal is to carry precision into everyday life, living life to the fullest just as much as you are giving the exercises your all.
Concentration
improves focus when muscles are engaged, controlling the mind through the movement
Centering
connecting every movement to the core of the body, improving stability, strength, power, balance and control.
Control
Muscular control improves stability and connects the body to the mind
Flow
Working through movements fluidly, it is more about the journey than the destination.
